If there’s one thing that is certain, it’s that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are some of the most highly adored humans on earth.
In recent years, they’ve seemingly taken the world by storm, mesmerizing young and old with their larger-than-life and unbelievably unique way of living. When we have the opportunity to get to know some of the more private details of their lives, we jump at it!
It’s not often that a royal spills the beans on another, especially not a spouse but it has happened! Recently, Prince William chose to spill the beans on a pretty well-kept secret of Kate Middleton’s and we seriously cannot get enough of this recent revelation.
We often wonder just what people like Kate Middleton do when they’re not dressed to the nines and attending exceptionally formal events. For one, she’s a very dedicated mother so a great deal of her spare time is spent with her three adorable little kiddos.
Many of us wonder, though - what does a royal Duchess such as herself enjoy doing for fun?
A woman named Johanna Basford, author and creator of the adult coloring book Secret Garden: An Inky Treasure Hunt and Coloring Book, had the grand privilege of meeting Prince William himself when she earned an Order of the British Empire designation award.
It was at this ceremony where Basford learned one of Kate’s favorite pastimes - coloring! In an interview following the presentation, she told reporters: “Prince William actually said that his wife likes to color in the Secret Garden, which was really sweet.”
This is just one of the millions of reasons to love Kate even more! Despite the lofty lifestyle she lives, she enjoys doing the simple things in life just like you and I. Atop that, her hobby is not only beneficial for her mind, it’s super fun and very affordable!
The fun and whimsical coloring book will cost you around $10 so with that in hand, you, too, can be just a bit more like the Duchess of Cambridge!
