A family in South Chicago is devastated after the October 2nd disappearance of their 26-year-old daughter Kierra Coles. The postal worker, who was reportedly three months pregnant at the time, vanished without a trace. Now her family is asking for help in finding their beautiful daughter, who has not been seen or heard from in nearly three weeks.
Footage from a neighbor’s surveillance camera shows Kierra walking past her apartment, then turning around and walking past her house again. Then she is seen crossing the street toward her car but does not get into it. Instead, she walks past it as if she were heading somewhere on foot.
Family members say they found Kierra’s purse, coat, and cell phone in the car, but her wallet and keys were missing. Kierra, who works as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, had reportedly called in sick the day of her disappearance, but a sack lunch in the car suggested that she may have planned to go to work after all.
But at this point, it’s all speculation. The investigation has not turned up any leads, but the length of time she has been gone and the lack of communication with her family leads police to suspect foul play.
The USPS has issued a $25,000 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of their employee.
Kierra's family, in the meantime, are doing everything they can to find their daughter. Although they are desperate for any news and are saddened by her absence, they remain hopeful for a good outcome.
Please join us in praying for Kierra's safe and swift return. We can only imagine the agony that her loved ones are feeling right now, after so long without any word.
