Say it ain’t so!
If you’re a Royal fan, then you’ve likely been following the alleged feud between the beloved Fab Four: William and Kate, and Harry and Meghan.
If you’re not up to date with the latest headlines, I’ll get you up to speed: a couple months after Harry and Meghan’s May nuptials, it was believed that Harry and Meghan would move into Kensington Palace’s Apartment 1A. In October, the Palace announced that Meghan was pregnant with her first baby. Just a couple weeks later, rumors swirled that William and Harry would no longer share Kensington Palace as their office. Days following those allegations, Kensington announced that Harry and Meghan would no longer be moving into Apartment 1A and instead would move to Frogmore Cottage at Windsor Castle.
This sudden change in events stirred Royal watchers and critics alike and it didn’t take long before headlines were insinuating major tension between the couples.
Several media outlets shared suggested tensions between the brothers specifically, which made Royal fans very sad. Trusted headlines suggested the reason Harry and Meghan were separating themselves from William and Kate was that William never made an effort to welcome Meghan into the family.
While there had always been playful tension between William and Harry as brothers, Royal watchers suggesting that the things between them aren’t necessarily innocent anymore.
But after most headlines pointed to issues between William and Harry, one source revealed to PEOPLE that the drama was also affecting Kate and Meghan.
Harry and Meghan shared their engagement news on November 27th, 2017. Shortly after that, Meghan experienced her first Christmas with Harry’s family. It was during a Christmas in December that William and Kate, and Harry and Meghan, were pictured together for the first time. Fans went into hysteria over the brothers and their loves and dubbed the group “The Fab Four.”
Today, almost exactly one year later, a source shares that the girls “got on,” saying, “They are definitely not best friends, but it was a really special time for them all to spend together.”
In my opinion, this is normal! Meghan is much more outgoing while Kate tends to appear shyer and reserved. It’s understandable that they’re differences don’t make for an immediate connection, especially given that they’re still pretty early on into their relationship as sisters-in-law. What do you think? Do you think they’re distance is normal? Or you do you think there is some tension? Let us know in the comments but remember to keep it clean!
