Make It A Relaxing Day With These DIY Bath Bombs

We all could use a little more time to relax with our busy lives. These easy DIY bath bombs are just the thing for the ultimate downtime.

DIY Bath Bombs


1/2 cup Baking Soda

1/4 cup Citric Acid (can be found at specialty food, ethnic grocery stores or online)

1/4 cup Cornstarch

1/4 cup Epsom Salt (or sea salt)

3 tsp Castor Oil (or vegetable oil)

1 tsp Essential Oil

Soap or Food Coloring

1 tbs Water (amount can vary based on humidity level)

Soap Molds (can be found at a craft store)

Plastic Ornament Mold (can be found at a craft store)

Plastic Easter Egg


Mix baking soda, epsom salt, cornstarch and citric acid.

Mix castor oil, essential oil, soap (food) coloring and water.

Mix wet and dry ingredients together until you have an even consistency.

Pack the mixture into the mold.

Add in an optional tiny surprise toy for your kids.

Press both sides together until it snaps.

Let harden overnight or place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Then they are ready to use!

How easy is that?

I can't wait to try this out! I love the idea of sticking a little surprise toy in the middle. My kids will love that!
