With all the talk over the past few months about just whom Meghan Markle would select for the most coveted designer gig of the decade, it appears she has made her selection.
And, no, it's not British designer Alexander McQueen, the frontrunner in recent weeks, and some are not too happy to be wrong. But someone who is extremely happy is this up-and-coming pair who has won the heart of this bride-to-be.
According to the Daily Mail, a royal insider has claimed that the America actress has chosen Australian-born designers Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo of Ralph & Russo for the highly-prized appointment.
While the palace has officially confirmed that the princess-to-be has made her final selection and that an initial fitting has already taken place, they have not yet announced the name of that designer.
It is widely known that Markle wore a Ralph & Russo gown for her engagement photo shoot and is said to be extremely fond of the team's creations.
So it makes sense that she would choose someone with whom she is comfortable and who knows her style and personal preferences.
Dresses are said to start at $53,000 with Miss Markle's engagement dress costing $99,000!
I can only imagine what the wedding gown will cost. Of course, when the bride-to-be has unlimited financial resources (she is marrying into the Royal family, after all) that the sky will most likely be the limit.
Check out some of the fashion house's latest designs and see if anything catches your eye for the future princess!
To be honest, I could see her in any of these creations, and she will look stunning and regal in whatever she decides upon.
And we can't wait to see her walk down the aisle in what is sure to be a masterpiece! It'll be here before we know it but, until then, we'll all be eagerly awaiting to see what she chooses.
So who are Ralph & Russo, the team reportedly tagged to design Meghan Markle's gown for her May 19th wedding to Prince Harry?
