One of the month’s most exciting days of the month has come and gone too soon, leaving us wanting more - as usual.
On June 8, the entire British Royal Family, along with numerous others, gathered together to celebrate Queen Elizabeth’s birthday in the vibrant and lavish celebration known as Trooping the Colour.
It’s an occasion many joyously wait for, and if the entire royal family is able to attend, it makes it all the better! This year, many were on the edge of their seats waiting in wide-eyed anticipation to see if the new royal mom, Meghan Markle, would be making her post-baby debut.
Much to everyone’s enjoyment, she was present and looking as radiant as ever before! It has only been one month since she gave birth to Prince Harry’s first child, Archie, and many speculated if the mama would be feeling up to par enough to put on her finest and attend the day’s events.
The Duchess of Sussex is still on her maternity leave, but per royal traditions and standards, it’s extremely important for new mothers to attend certain events even if their maternity leave has yet to expire.
It sure was wonderful to see her while it lasted, but many were left to wonder just when we’d see the smiling mama again. As it turns out, it’s sooner than anyone truly realized!
From June 28-July 14, Wimbledon will be taking place. If you recall, Duchess Meghan made an appearance there last year with her sister-in-law, Kate. It has been reported to sources that she will, in fact, be coming again this year as well. It has yet to be confirmed as to which match she will attend.
Sources state: “This is similar to the Duchess of Cambridge’s maternity leave where she made a few appearances at family and personal events (Trooping the Colour and Wimbledon) but did not carry out any official duties as a member of the royal family during maternity leave.”
We, along with everyone else, will be sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear the final confirmation as to which match she’ll attend!
