One of country music’s hottest sensations has found herself smack-dab in the news more often than not recently, and many of her devout fans have been left scratching their heads in disbelief.
On February 13, news broke that the Pistol Annie’s lead lady, Miranda Lambert, was involved in a heated argument at a restaurant. The altercation escalated so quickly that cops were immediately called and news outlets ran wild with the story.
Now, just one week later, news has hit the fan that the singer has, yet again, found herself in the media spotlight. This time, though, it’s for a different reason completely.
Lambert has not had the cleanest track record for her love life since her rise to stardom. When you’re a well-loved celebrity, it can often be tricky to keep all of your personal life’s details under wraps.
Instead of the media leaking her latest news, she took the bull by the horns and made the official announcement herself on her personal Instagram account. She posted a picture of herself in a flowing lace gown with none other than her new husband!
No one even knew of this secret, whirlwind romance, much less of her private wedding! The new beau in her life, or as she calls him, “the one,” is a 27-year-old police officer from New York named Brendan McLoughlin.
She captioned the photo: “In honor of Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you, Brendan McLoughlin, for loving me for...me. #theone”
Sources state that the two apparently met at the beginning of November 2018 when she and her Pistol Annies bandmates made an appearance on Good Morning America in New York. Following the appearance, the band performed at NYC’s Town Hall where he was stationed to work that evening.
McLoughlin has often been scheduled to work crowd control in the New York area for concerts and events, so it was as if fate brought them together that night. How they officially connected is still uncertain, but according to the two images Lambert posted online, they seem to be head-over-heels about one another.
We hope they have a long and happy life together!
