On March 22, one of television’s famous faces recently endured a severe health crisis and is still in desperate need of your prayers.
CBS This Morning’s co-anchor, Norah O’Donnell, was enjoying a wonderful spring break vacation with her friends and family when she experienced a horrific pain that landed her in the hospital.
She was quickly rushed to the Medical University of South Carolina. Within moments, nurses and doctors rushed her to emergency surgery.
The 45-year-old had apparently suffered from appendix pain and had to undergo an emergency appendectomy before it ruptured. She documented her unplanned “adventure” on social media.
PEOPLE reports that she posted images to her Snapchat. The first was a photo of herself sitting in a hospital gown. She captioned it, “Not what we planned for spring break.”
Following this, she then continued to document her stay at the hospital. Her husband, Geoff Tracy, also posted about her with sweet, heartfelt sentiments during her procedure.
“My life love and champion @NorahODonell lost her appendix today. I was so worried. But the team at @MUSChealth and her friends @CBSThisMorning made it a huge success. A spring break to remember.”
Following her procedure, he posted a follow up: “Thumbs up from @NorahODonnell and stronger than steel. Laparoscopic appendectomy is amazing. #springbreak2019”
We’re so thrilled to know that she had the surgery done in time and all went well. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she continues to recover!
