The royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is just days away and the world can hardly wait! With the growing royal family, the coming together of Hollywood Royalty and Britain Royalty is one of the most exciting things to ever happen!
But the royal wedding isn’t the only thing that’s got the world buzzing! The Royal Family is truly in an exciting season as the Duke and Duchess became a family of five just three weeks before the royal wedding!
On April 23rd, Kate Middleton delivered a healthy baby boy: Prince Louis Arthur Charles. The Duchess gave birth to a healthy 8 lb 7 oz prince that the world hasn’t been able to stop buzzing about.
With so much excitement in the air, the British people have truly been in an exciting season of new beginnings. With the birth and wedding just three weeks apart, many are wondering if Prince Louis will be attendance at the wedding. To see both the new prince and the royal wedding happening at the same time would truly be a historical sight!
However, on April 28th, just three weeks before the wedding, it was announced the newest member of the Royal Family would not be attending Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding.
According to The Mirror, a royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliams has weighed in on the matter sharing that the “Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are unlikely to take him along to the nuptials at St George's Chapel in Windsor on May 19, so he doesn't steal the limelight… Absolutely nothing must detract from the focus on the happy couple and this would," he said.
The thought of Prince Louis at his uncle’s wedding thrilled the British people, so when they learned that he wouldn’t be in attendance at the Royal wedding, they were outraged.
With the family’s life being so public, it can be difficult to request any privacy without criticism. More than just the little prince captivating so much attention, perhaps the reason that the Duke and Duchess are opting for him to stay at home is because he is so young. By the time the wedding date arrives, Prince Louis would only be 26 days old. That is young for any baby, not just a royal baby.
