Producers From Hit Talent Show Slammed With Wrongful Death Lawsuit

March 08, 2018

Producers of the hit NBC television show, America’s Got Talent, have been in the news lately, and it’s not the good kind of news. A woman tragically passed away just months after being injured while on the company’s premises. The Allen family is suing the production company after a wheelchair-bound member, Maureen Allen fell and passed away after sustained injuries.

Allen and her husband were volunteering at an educational fair at the same location in which the hit show was filming for an upcoming season. This was enough to spark a great deal of curiosity, and Allen decided she wanted to go inside.

She tried to enter the establishment but faced a great deal of difficulty in doing so. All of the disabled entries were blocked off for filming purposes, and some were hindered by vehicles and equipment for the show.

She finally found one entrance. As she proceeded up the ramp and attempting to avoid the cluttered pathway, her electric scooter lost balance, sending her to the ground. In the fall, she obtained an injury to the head, arm, and hip.

After the injuries, she developed a blood clot which eventually led to a stroke. Sadly, Allen passed away. The family is now going after the production company for the wrongful death of their beloved family member. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Allen family during this tragic time.
