Robin Leach, the famous host of the internationally known television show, "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous," has died. He was 76.
A London native, Robin Leach was beloved for his journalism and his charm as the host of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” from 1984 to 1995.
His death was announced on Twitter by a colleague, John Katsilometes. John announced that Robin died following a stroke he suffered in November of 2017.
Following John’s statement, Robin’s family confirmed his death with a personal statement. "Despite the past 10 months, what a beautiful life he had. Our Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and friend Robin Leach passed away peacefully last night at 1:50 a.m. Everyone's support and love over the past, almost one year, has been incredible and we are so grateful."
Friends and fellow celebrities alike took to social media to share their condolences.
Robin was living in Vegas at the time of his death and was only five days away from his 77th birthday.
