Royal Family Member Has Cosmetic Surgery Just In Time For Harry And Meghan’s Wedding - And You Won’t Believe The Difference It Makes

May 01, 2018

It is rare for a member of the Royal Family of Great Britain to have cosmetic surgery. Some people may think that it might be a good idea for some of them to consider it, but artificially altering one’s appearance does not seem to be part of Royal protocol. And we have to admire that attitude.

For one family member, however, it was a long time coming. This person’s facial deformity caused by numerous injuries had begun to interfere with his quality of life, so he finally relented and had the procedure done.

Mike Tindall, husband of Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Phillips Tindall, had suffered several serious blows to his nose during his years as a rugby star, but until now, he has just learned to live with it.

According to People, “The former rugby star — who is married to Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall — recently went under the knife to fix his famously crooked nose, which he broke several times during his athletic career.

“After years of struggling to breathe properly, Mike admitted that it was time for him to have corrective surgery a few years ago.

“I don’t really want to get it fixed, but it looks like I might have to because I can’t actually breathe very well,” Tindall told the Daily Mirror in 2015. “I guess it’s something similar to a pug.”

The rugby star, 39, first broke his nose at just five years of age “and went on to suffer three more breaks during his rugby career, which ended in 2014."

Before his recent surgery, Tindall’s nose sat at a 45-degree angle, and both of his nostrils were collapsed, meaning he could breathe only through his mouth.

People goes on to report, “Now, the royal husband can finally breathe a sigh of relief — and just in time for Harry’s nuptials. Mike was one of the first members of the royal family to speak out in support of the couple ahead of their engagement.”

We are so happy for the new father-to-be, who is expecting his second child any day now with wife Zara. We are so glad he made the decision he did and wish him many years of “free-breathing” with his new, more efficient nose!
