Family Of 21-Year-Old Murdered College Student Comes Forward And Releases Devastating Cause Of Death. Now, They’re Coveting Your Prayers

December 14, 2018

On December 14, news broke that 21-year-old American college student, Sarah Papenheim, had been murdered while studying abroad in the Netherlands. This is undoubtedly devastating news for any parent to hear, and now, they’re coveting your prayers.

According to sources: “Police reportedly found Sarah Papenheim’s body in her apartment in Rotterdam on Wednesday, about a mile from Erasmus University. Papenheim was studying psychology and was focusing on suicidal behavior, as her older brother killed himself three years ago.”

Her mother was given the gut-wrenching details of how her daughter had been murdered. After she had been examined, it was confirmed that she had been beaten as well as stabbed.

From what authorities can gather, they have been led to believe that she had been warned by her mother to be very careful around her roommate. Her mother told the press that Sarah and her 23-year-old roommate had gotten along for some time, but he soon began to grow increasingly more hostile toward her.

“[The] last couple of weeks [he] was getting more and more angry. I told her she needed to get out of there, that he seemed dangerous. But she told me, ‘No, mom. I’m his only friend and he won’t hurt me,’” her mother recalls.

The man, whose name has yet to be released publicly, has since been taken into custody and authorities are working on trying to get a clear motive for his actions.

Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of their daughter.
