Stranger Returns WWII Jacket Found in Her Closet to Widow of Army Veteran

December 01, 2016

These two strangers were brought together in the most unique, heartwarming way.

When Kathy Bold was searching through her closet, she found an old WWII army jacket that she thought had belonged to her father.

When she took it out on Veteran's Day, she made an astonishing surprise. The jacket belonged to someone else, not her father.

After much research, Kathy finally found that it belonged to Veteran Dewey Prescott. She tracked down his wife, Norma, and presented her with the jacket.

This jacket held an unbelievable amount of meaning to Norma because her husband had passes away in 2010.
