One of the most beloved of all Easter traditions is the Easter Egg Hunt. On this Easter Sunday, these children got involved in a whole new type of seeking hidden items. When the group of 6 to 12 year olds witnessed two men racing by on foot with a police helicopter flying overhead, they decided to get involved.

The eight children saw the helicopter circling after losing sight of the suspected burglars, and jumped into action to help point the police in the right direction. The children lay down on the ground in the shape of a human arrow to point the helicopter in the direction the burglars had gone in, and thanks to their directions the helicopter was quickly able to locate the suspects.

The suspected burglars were quickly apprehended in the strand of trees they had chosen to hide in. The police were extremely thankful for the children’s help and say it definitely made a difference in the search for the suspects. They rewarded the children with special awards to thank for them for their assistance.
