This Woman Is Changing The Animal World With Her Love Of All Furry Friends

November 01, 2017

Do you have a dream? Whether big or small, your dream wants to fly. As we know, dreams are as diverse as we are. (insert Oprah's voice.) Jama Hedgecoth sure knows how to chase her dream and catch it. She rescues animals that are on their way to be euthanized or in other bad situations. She started a nonprofit called “Noah's Ark Sanctuary” and is making the difference in the lives of countless furry friends.

Noah's Ark, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal sanctuary, is dedicated to bringing children and animals together for the purpose of providing unconditional love, unconditional service, and a future full of hope. The charity houses over 1,500 animals of 100 different species; it costs $33,000 per month to feed and care for these animals.

Noah's Ark is a 250-acre sanctuary for abused, unwanted, and neglected animals. A beautiful "park-like setting with paved pathways where you can bring your family and enjoy an afternoon out. We have a beautiful picnic area and playground. Wear your walking shoes, pack a lunch and come spend the day with us!”

“Noah's Ark never charges admission to come and see the animals, however, we do accept and appreciate donations to help feed and care for the animals.”

The organization strives “to provide awareness through our rehab/education programs that emphasize all living things have value no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. When we as a society can recognize this fact, we will begin to win the battles for conservation and preservation."

To provide unconditional love and care for animals who have special needs in their lives whether mental, physical, or emotional - What a great purpose!
