What Kate Seems to be Learning From Her Future Sister-In-Law Will Might Make You Hold the Meghan in Higher Regards

February 22, 2018

When Meghan said the famous, “Yes!” to Prince Harry, she not only agreed to be his wife, but she also agreed to his entire family. That includes The Queen, Prince Charles, and Prince William and Kate and their children.

From the beginning, Kate and Meghan seemed to share a special connection. In the interview that happened following their engagement, Meghan shared that Kate has been a real source of encouragement for her.

Now, Kate returns the favor as she makes public choices that spotlight Meghan’s recent influences in the family.

Kate has always complied to Royal standards whereas Meghan has been much relaxed in her role as Royal. Since the engagement and getting closer with Meghan, Kate has been noticed to be much involved in cultural trends.

For example, during the British Academy Film Awards, Kate dressed in a deep olive dress and black sash. This is astonishing because it’s Kate’s own way of responding to culture’s female equality movement, commonly known as “Times Up.”

This is a huge deal because as a Royal whose husband is third in line for the crown, you are not to take sides in cultural or political topics. Rather, you are to remain unbiased. Kate’s black sash sent a subtle hint to the world regarding her thoughts on the Times Up movement- was she in support of it?

Onlookers tend to wonder if this is something Kate would have done before the influence of Meghan, and we can’t but wonder if they’re right! Is Meghan’s humanitarian and cultural opinion rubbing off on The Duchess?

Kate’s also gotten much candid about motherhood since Meghan’s arrival. Do you think her recent outspokenness has anything to do with Meghan? If it does, we’re fans. And if it doesn’t, we’re still fans!
